Dear Friends,

Greetings from a hot and sticky Zimbabwe, temperatures are high, average 32C (90F), and we have had some rain but we need more. It’s very difficult to sleep at night with the heat but the good thing is our solar power system is working a great! Praise God!
The children are all doing well, everyone is back at school and social distancing, hand sanitizer and masks are the order of the day, Grace continues with her studies prior to her transfer tests from 3-17 December, please pray for Grace.
The other 10 children are in the midst of tests and exams and are happy to be back at school, they can come home and swim every afternoon which is a blessing and they are all excited about Christmas which will be somewhat different this year I’m sure.

We are trying to get on with life as normal but there are so many changes here and indeed worldwide it has given us all a different perspective on life, thank the Lord He never changes, He is our rock and our hope, he is the one who stands with us and protects us.

The cost of living has gone through the roof here, electricity has gone up fourfold, goods in the shops have more than doubled and fuel also but we thank our God for His provision. Our new borehole has been a tremendous blessing, we have all the water we need and more, drinking water is clean and healthy and we are so grateful for all our friends who were involved in this great project.

We have also painted the property, with bedrooms and lounges etc looking wonderful, without maintenance things quickly go downhill here but the Lord has been so good and everyone is very happy with the new curtains , covers etc. praise God!

Zimbabwe has very few cases of COVID 19 just now, around 270 people have died and today there are 88 cases. We thank God it has not spiralled out of control. Please continue to pray for our safety, shops and restaurants are all open but with with fewer people and with the cost of things it’s not so hectic.

We trust everyone who ordered 2021 Jabulani calendars have received them by now, if not please contact me, also we have some extra in Ireland so if you need some please let me know and we can get them posted to you ASAP.
