The autobiography and story of Alan Graham and Jabulani Children’s Home.

Alan and his wife Dorothy are originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. In the year 2000 they left the comfort of their home land with a desire to help orphaned children and abandoned babies in the Harare area of Zimbabwe.

Challenged by the words "what disturbs you " and after encountering many children with great needs and difficulties , they decided to set up Jabulani Children’s Home to try and help some of the poorest and neediest. Since then they have been seeking to partner with others who share God's heart for the many broken lives in Zimbabwe, working to help alleviate suffering for many children through offering a hope, a home and a future to those in need.

This is their story.

The heart of this book is about going to those who haven’t heard and giving them the chance at least once in their lifetime, to hear the good news of Jesus, taste the love of heaven and experience the grace of God.  But as you’ll discover through Alan’s story, going is not just for the experts or the brilliant or the super-talented, rather it is for all those who have received God’s saving love through faith.  The world still needs people to go as millions have yet to hear the name of Jesus as Saviour even once and as Alan’s story gloriously demonstrates, if we are willing God is able.

“In grace Jesus came to me, by grace He saved me and through grace He transformed me.  I have enjoyed the most incredible life with Dorothy, my children and my friends and it is all because of the matchless, limitless, relentless and glorious grace of God.  Like Paul I can say, “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.”  What grace and what a God!”

“What a privilege for my wife and I and our church family to meet Alan and Dorothy Graham over 14 years ago. The journey of faith and ministry with them in Zimbabwe has been; what I would envision, the journey would be like with the great George Muller in the 1800s. We are challenged to believe more, give more and do more for the glory of God every time we are with the Grahams.”
